Course Details

Aim: Equip practitioners to provide immediate support to emotionally traumatized children.

Description: This introductory course teaches participants to understand trauma’s impact on children, build supportive relationships, and create safe spaces where healing can occur. Students learn active listening skills and how to use play as a communication tool. Practical exercises include supervised sessions with traumatized children using the methods studied.

Time commitment: 32 hours  |  Credits: 1 ECTS

Format: Online (6 sessions), In-person (4 sessions), or Blended
